BEYOND BRICKS
B4K Figure Brick Builds: Age 4-6
In this Virtual Classroom offering, allows participants to explore the world around us in bricks. They engage in fun facts, games, challenges, and song relating to animals, famous places, things, popular characters, and structures.
Build with Duplo® and/or standard LEGO® bricks, whichever you have at home (kit sold separately, if needed). While building these engaging models they develop spatial & letter recognition, patterning, colors, counting, fine motor skills, positioning and sequencing skills.
STUDIO 2.0
B4K Technic Build: Age 7-10
Our Virtual Classroom offering Bricks 4 Kidz curriculum uses the virtual desktop application that allows users to build our unique Bricks 4 Kidz models using virtual parts from our project kit.
Participating in this virtual class will also give students a better understanding of how to work with studio design software such as Auto Cad and interestingly enough, will provide exposure to 3D printing as well.
Scratch
Make Movies, Video Games, & more! Ages 7-11
Pick your adventure! Find out how animated movies are made, video strategy design, and how to take Scratch from the virtual to the physical, using nothing but the #1 Children’s programming Language on the planet, Scratch. Developed by MIT and used in LEGO® brand new Robotics kit, Scratch is the must-know coding language of the decade!
Once you’ve mastered the basics of Scratch, embark on a new journey creating your very own programs, movies and games to challenge your friends. Just you, your computer, your imagination & your friends!
Ready A.I.
Artificial Intelligence Robotics: Ages 8-13
A.I.! In this camp, you will learn the hottest A.I. topics, including machine
learning, path planning, and more. You will use Calypso, an A.I. programming
software, where you will code the virtual Cozmo robot, to play games, speak
with people, and become a self-driving car.
By the end of the camp, campers will demonstrate programs that they coded
themselves from start to finish. They will also be eligible to compete in the
World A.I. Competition hosted by Ready A.I.
