The Mysterious Case of the Missing Master Builders – 7 Week Program (Ages 5-12)

Mondays May 13th – June 24th 5:30PM – 7:30PM

Mystery and Mayhem have struck in Bricksburg and several Master Builders have gone missing! So pull out your magnifying glass, put on your thinking cap (and maybe your detective’s cap!), and grab your brick separator — we’ve got clues to unravel, missing persons to track down, and a whole lot of LEGO models to build to help solve the mystery! Each week we will unlock more answers and bring us closer to the solution. Are you ready to solve a mystery the Bricks 4 Kidz way? Join us for creative building, motorized LEGO projects, new building techniques, and much more!

MASTER BUILDERZ – 6 Week Program (Ages 9-14)

Has your 9-14 year old proclaimed himself or herself a LEGO expert? Or do they secretly wish they could tag along with their younger sibling to a Bricks 4 Kidz program?  Bricks 4 Kidz is pleased to offer their Master Builderz program, where pre-teens and teens will bypass lower skill level sets to enjoy the challenge of our Black Diamond models.
These sophisticated models have a skill level of “Advanced” and, with each model plan having between 25 and 50 steps and using up to 80 LEGO technic pieces, they are intended for the more experienced builder. All Black Diamond models are motorized, with remote controls and IR receivers added to enhance the experience.  In the 5th and final class, participants will be asked to build a DOUBLE Black Diamond model with a skill level of “Expert” – proving their claim once and for all.

BUILDING UP GIRLZ – 6 Week Program (Ages 5-8)

Building Up Girlz has been adapted from our Bricks 4 Girlz Program (Ages 8-12) and is specially designed to help young girls develop confidence, explore their identity, and manage their emotions through a series of engaging activities and using age appropriate language. Over the course of six weeks, girls will participate in discussions, lego builds, and crafts, all intended to “build up girls”. By the end of the program, participants will have a better understanding of what it truly means to have girl power.  Topics include:  “Expressing Feelings”, “Kindness: How Do you fill a bucket?”, “Confidence: Super Hero Training”, “Big Emotions”, “Teamwork” and “I Love Me”.  The program will end with a fun-filled Girlz-night-out where participants will be invited to “Dress Up” for the occasion.
