Participating Community Schools

Bricks 4 Kidz works closely and collaboratively with school boards and community schools to deliver our after-school programs safely and efficiently.  School Principals and administration provide prior approval of our programs and assist us with student attendance,  but they do not manage student enrolments or payments.  If at any time you require assistance with enrolling your child, making payments or have questions or concerns, please contact Bricks 4 Kidz directly at (705) 450-7529 or by email at [email protected].

Bricks4Kidz reserves the right to cancel any scheduled after-school program due to insufficient enrolment.  Please ensure you have enrolled your child at least 24hrs prior to the start of the program to assist us in avoiding unnecessary cancellations.  We will accept late enrolments in programs that are already underway, provided there is space available. Pricing will be adjusted accordingly.

Session 5 – Laws of Motion

Starting the week of April  8th 2024 / Ending the week of May 13th, 2024

THEME: Laws of Motion

Introduce kids to physics, including the “Laws of Motion” made famous by Sir Isaac Newton. By explaining terms like inertia and mass using simple words, Bricks 4 Kidz® lessons give students a foundation for understanding concepts that they will delve deeper into in years to come. For now, they get to build fun stuff out of LEGO® Bricks and create a positive association that science is fun! During this unit, kids will launch paper footballs at targets with the catapult model, give their mini-figures a ride on motorized see-saw and swing-o-rama rides, and practice telling time as they build the clock model. At Bricks 4 Kidz®, we know how to keep their hands and their minds busy! Who says physics is boring? Test out some of Sir Isaac Newton’s Laws of motion with models that illustrate the concepts of inertia, force, mass, acceleration, and the observation that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. What will your reaction be to our Bricks 4 Kidz® action-packed after school class?
