Bricks 4 Kidz Party Policies

  • A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve date and time. Balance due at the end of party/event.
  • Reserving a birthday party at Bricks 4 Kidz Hoboken, indicates your acceptance and understanding of our terms and policies herein.
  • Zelle, check and cash payments preferred. Credit/Debit card payments also accepted. Credit & Debit card payments incur a 3.5% transaction fee.
  • A $75 fee will be applied to any returned checks, at which point, balance will have to be in cash or certified funds.
  • Decorations include banners, and table covers. You are welcome to bring balloons, if desired.
  • We recommend 12-16 guests (classmates/friends) of the birthday child as ideal for creating a joyful and comfortable setting for your child’s special day. Due to space and occupancy requirements, ALL PARTIES ARE DROP-OFF.
  • There will be a minimum charge of $25 if B4K supplies paper goods, plus the costs of food and drinks for adult guests.
  • Additional party time is $100 per half hour, and will be charged if guests stay more than 15 minutes after the end of party.
  • Party fees cover reservation and use of the B4K Space, B4K Staff, equipment, party tables, and chairs. Party family will be responsible for any damages to any property within the B4K space, our equipment, tables and chairs that occur during the party by any member of birthday family or attending guests.
  • B4K Staff will plan and lead activities for the children. They will also help with the complete timing, food service, and hosting of the party ensuring a balanced and fun-filled party.
  • B4K Staff will do all set-up and clean-up for the party.

The approximate timing of party activities will be as follows:

  • 10-15 minutes: Arrival and Greeting of Guests – Free Building
  • 40-45 minutes: Games and Activities led by B4K Party Staff
  • 20 minutes: Food/Drink Service
  • 15 minutes: Activities led by B4K Party Staff
  • 15-20 minutes: Happy Birthday Gathering & Cake Service
  • 5-10 minutes: Ending Activity usually Free Building, and Goody Bags Distribution

ARRIVAL TIME. Please arrive for your party no earlier than 10 minutes prior to party start time. Your guests should arrive no sooner than 5 minutes prior to the Party Start Time. We may have other programs scheduled both before and after yours, and we want every group (including yours) to have our undivided attention. We do not have a sufficient waiting area for multiple parties.

PARTY TIME. Bricks 4 Kidz will be ready to begin your party at the time written on your confirmation.

PARTY LENGTH. All parties are 2 hours. Therefore, if your party start time is 11:00 am, you and your guests can enjoy our space until 1:00 pm.  Please note: we may need time to clean and then set-up for the next party, therefore, you will be charged $100 for the first 15 minutes of overtime and an additional $75 for the second 15 minutes of overtime at Bricks 4 Kidz.

DECORATIONS. Bricks 4 Kidz will have “Happy Birthday” banners and table covers. We feel no additional decorations are needed. We ask that nothing be hung or taped to the walls or ceiling. No confetti, glitter, silly string or piñatas are allowed.

FOOD AND DRINKS. We strive to provide each party the same fabulous experience and give each our undivided attention. Cleanliness of the venue is an important aspect of a positive party experience. Therefore, we are quite strict on what food and drinks are served. This is for your benefit as much as that of others. Food you may bring – Cake or cup cakes (No ice-cream cakes), pizza, fruit, veggie or cheese platters, and beverages. Chips, pretzels, popcorn snacks are not allowed.

NO OTHER FOOD IS PERMITTED. If other food items are brought to the party, those items will not be allowed unless you have prior approval from Bricks 4 Kidz.

NOTE: All food including cake/cupcakes MUST BE PEANUT FREE!!!

CLEANING FEE. Should unauthorized decorations be used, unauthorized food be brought or should actions by you or your guests result in a greater effort by our staff to clean and reset our party space for the next group, you will be charged a cleaning fee of $100.

Food Recommendations

We recommend Goodie Box Bakeshop for cakes and goodies; and Wings to Go in Hoboken for pizza, and drinks.
