There are HUNDREDS of different S.T.E.M. careers, and many are leading the way to a better earth for everyone. Many famous people from history have been involved in S.T.E.M. fields before the term was even coined. Albert Einstein and his theory of relativity was deep into science and math, and Nikola Tesla’s crazy electric inventions involved engineering and technology.
Thousands and thousands of people in S.T.E.M. fields are working to change the world every day. Researchers, scientists, architects, engineers, astronauts, physicists…the list goes on and on!

Brilliant Scientists at Boston Biomedical are breaking new ground every day on ways to find cures for diseases. They use their medical knowledge, as well as their scientific researching skills, to come up with inventive new possibilities to cure many different types of sicknesses.
Computer Engineers at Intel are constantly making huge progress towards creating more powerful computers every single year. They use their knowledge of coding, hardware, and even some science and math to find new methods for getting the most out of our day-to-day technology.
Researchers at MIT Mathematics are a real smart bunch. Think you know a lot about math? Every year, these mathematicians are discovering new ideas and theories about how math interacts with individuals, the world, and the whole universe.
Designers at LEGO are always designing new projects and fun ways to play. It’s not as easy as it might look! Designing a LEGO set, especially ones like the EV3 Robotics we use, involve tons of hard work from a team of designers. What pieces to include, where to use them, how many pieces it will take to accomplish certain tasks, what themes to create new models from…it’s not all fun and games!
With S.T.E.M. fields, the possibilities are endless, as long as you’re dedicated to learning more. The best part is, anyone can get involved. Maybe one day, we’ll even be writing about how YOU are changing the world!
