Field Trips
In-school field trips for preschool and elementary age students!
The field trip is a 60-minute STEM program.
A trained Bricks 4 Kidz instructor brings all materials needed to your facility.
The cost of a field trip is $125 per classroom (20-26 students) or $100/class (<20 students).
- We offer hands-on classes where students will design and construct machines, buildings and other models out of LEGO® bricks for all elementary school grades. We provide all materials for students to work in a lab-type setting using the bricks with an integrated curriculum based on math, science, language arts, and social studies.
- The program is offered all year and can be tailored to your students’ needs and interests. No more expensive bus trips and the kids will have an awesome learning adventure right in the comfort of their own classroom. Children love building with LEGO® bricks so much that they will have fun while learning with our program. We welcome the opportunity to share our academic program with the children in your school/facility.

Just a small list of examples to choose from:
Is there a budding inventor in your classroom? Most kids have seen their mom or dad use a power drill or an electric mixer, but have they ever gotten to use one? Maybe, but have they ever gotten to build one of their own… out of legos?! These projects introduce students to the world of ideas, inventions and patents, perhaps sparking the curiosity and resourcefulness of the next Thomas Edison! “How Stuff Works” teaches kids about gears and gear ratios, touching on many science and math curriculum objectives that may be dull or frustrating on paper, but are relatable and exciting in a motorized project that kids can build for themselves!”
“The American Spirit: Adventure and Invention in the early 20th Century.
Henry Ford, Amelia Earhart, The Empire State Building …these and many other icons of American ambition and determination symbolize the achievements of the early part of the 20th century. Bring history alive to your students and inspire them with stories of the accomplishments of a bygone generation. Choose from models of The Empire State Building, an airplane, or Henry Ford’s conveyor belt!”
“Medieval Period: Castles and kings, knights and battles, serfs and noblemen.
This is the stuff that captures a child’s imagination! Bring the days of chivalry and honor alive to your students with our castle and windmill projects. But were medieval times really as noble, romantic and exciting as they seem in the movies? As the children find out more about castles, we’ll sneak in some history in the process! Students will enjoy a hands-on experience building a castle and windmill (widely used toward the end of the middle ages), then expand their creations using their imaginations to construct the castle village, surrounding countryside and more.”
“Explore a far off place from ancient history as we build a model of the Great Pyramids.
Learn about the culture of the Egyptians and be amazed at all they accomplished. What have we learned from their achievements thousands of years ago and what mysteries do their civilizations hold? Their monuments have stood the test of time…what will our culture leave behind? This field trip makes a great hands-on unit relating to geography as we identify the continent Africa and more. Also an opportunity to create an engaging experience for kids to journal about as they describe the process of recreating these structures and imagine themselves living in ancient times.”
