Bricks 4 Kidz Summer Camps and Daniele Benedettelli Visit to NL

It is so hard to believe that another school year is beginning and with this comes our new Fall Bricks 4 Kidz® Classes. It was an amazing summer both weather wise and with our camps.  Thanks to everyone who attended our camps and a very special thank you to my wonderful staff – Jeanine, Cheryl, Jennifer, and Brittany. They certainly helped camps run smoothly.

In late July, we brought Italian Robotics Engineer and freelance LEGO® designer, Daniele Benedettelli  to St. John’s to inspire Bricks 4 Kidz® students with his amazing robot creations.  He came and spoke to our students in both our Robotics Camp and our Extreme Expedition Camp.  He gave a a great demonstration to our students and signed his new EV3 Robotics book.

Bricks 4 Kidz® arranged for Danny to give an inspiring talk and presention entitled “LEGO® Mindstorms® Robotics: Endless Possibilities” at Memorial University of Newfoundland.  We had a full house for his talk and everyone enjoyed his inspiring discussion about his robotic projects and demonstrated his three amazing robots:  Legonardo, LEGO® Duck Maker Machine, and FrAnK (Freaking Animatronics Knucklehead).  Overall, it was fun and exciting summer and we look another great school year!
