We still have a few "holes'' in our summer schedule where we would have time to partner with a church, a group of scouts, or another organization to do somme camp activites. It could be for an hour or two, or more. We can also partner with parents who would like to have a mini-camp in their home with a group of six kids. And we're looking to schedule some summer birthday parties. Let us know hwat you may have in mind. It's not all about "business". It's about working with families and their kids. Well, although our outdoor events that we were supoosed to attend yesterday were cancelled, we did go to the Homeschool Book Fair and were able to meet some very nice families. We are really enjoying the weekly classes that we've been having with home-schooled students. Hopefully, we recruited a few more to come and join in the fun!
Regarding future classes for homeschoolers, we have already put some classes on our website and will post them here soon. We also had a new thought regarding middle school students, and even high school students if they want to come. We could combine our class of elementary students with the older students. We could have some discussions as a whole and we could also have some in separate groups. And then our model plans will be distributed according to age and ability level. We have model plans for who we call "hard core builders" and would gladly challenge older students with these! We'd be happy to have input from home-schooling parents!
