 BRICKS 4 KIDZ® – North Carolina –

Asheville – Arden- Weaverville- and surrounding areas!

Through after-school programs, pre-school classes, in-school field trips and camps, students will experience hands-on engineering fundamentals as they build motorized models.  We provide a curriculum that introduces children to engineering, architecture and scientific principles.

At Bricks4Kidz®, we teach kids in a way that can’t be taught with a book and chalkboard.  Check our list of classes and camps by clicking the links on this site.

In our afterschool classes, students build models that move!  We bring the brick kits, motors, battery packs and step by step model guides.  Students also get to enjoy free play exploration time at the end of each class.  We are excited to be serving Western North Carolina with these FANTASTIC programs!!

What makes us different?

We don’t simply play with Lego® parts and pieces, we build motorized, working models from scratch!

We provide educational concepts and new vocabulary words to go with each model.

We offer 2 levels of difficulty for each model, for both the novice and experienced builder.

We have so many different learning units, that children could take our classes for over three years and never repeat a model…and we add new models each year!

QUICK SURVEY! As we are gearing up for all the fun Holidays the fall and winter seasons bring, I wanted to find out where some interest in some Lego events might be. Please read over the possible events below and let me know any or all that would interest you. Thanks so much!

1. Halloween Parent/Child event. Fun event for parents and kids to attend together (dressing up for everyone would be encouraged!). This event would likely be held on Friday, October 26th from 6-8:30pm and would include pizza/drinks, lots of fun activities, crafts and a Lego minifigure for everyone to take home. All for $30 per pair (one parent, one child).

2. Thanksgiving Break Camps- I have never run these before, but have been asked if I am offering them. If you would be interested in Lego camps over Thanksgiving Break- please let me know what days you would want and how many kids you would enroll. Camps would likely run from 9-12 and 1-4 (sign up for one, or both)

3. Christmas Break Camps- Would likely run a few daily camps if I have enough interest. If you are interested, what days work well, and how many kids do you have that would be attending if we run them?

4. Holiday Drop and Shop camps. Perhaps a Saturday or 2 between mid November till late December? A day for your kids to come have a fun 4 hour camp while you GET STUFF DONE! If these interest you, what Saturdays work best and what time of day?

Thanks so much for participating. I want to offer camps and events that are fun and convenient, and the only way to know if they are is if you reply and let me know.
