What Are Bricks 4 Kidz® Camps?

A Bricks 4 Kidz® camp is a fresh and fun way for kids to spend their school break! With specially-designed Bricks 4 Kidz® models, LEGO® games galore, fun educational activities, and plenty of time for free-play, Bricks 4 Kidz® camps are highly rated as some of the best in promoting S.T.E.M. learning. Camps are specially designed for kids ages 5-12 and are staffed by trained and screened Bricks 4 Kidz® teachers.

Imagination Feeds S.T.E.M. Education

Imagination is the CRITICAL key to learning as your kids use LEGO® bricks to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math by creating robotics in a friendly team-based environment. Bricks 4 Kidz® camps keep the pace fast and varied with guided projects and challenges as well as time for free-play to stir the imagination and creativity of a true master builder. Camp activities are built around themes kids love, like Amusement Parks, Space, Robotics, Super Heroes, Minecraft and more. Screened, trained Bricks 4 Kidz® staff provide friendly, qualified supervision for your children, so you can rest assured they are safe and happy.

 

Age Groups & Activities

Camps are divided into two age groups: 5-7 year olds and 8-12 year olds. Children work in pairs to build projects using unique Bricks 4 Kidz® model plans. They also get to make creations of their own during our free play periods. We keep the action going with unique games and challenges using LEGO® bricks as well as LEGO® board games and LEGO® video games to make sure they get their fill of LEGO® fun! The children will work and play with specialized LEGO® Technic pieces such as gears, axles, and beams as well as electric motors, sensors, remote controls and more!

Bricks 4 Kidz® Camps

LEGO® MINDSTORMS EV3 Robotics (ages 8+)

Experience the cutting edge of technology with the introduction of LEGO® MINDSTORMS EV3 Robotics. This is a five-day fun and creative summer camp learning experience for kids. Kids will work in pairs to solve challenges by building and programming robots using the LEGO® Mindstorms Robotics. In addition to having fun, participants learn about robotic programming, problem solving, and teamwork skills. Learn more about MINDSTORMS through the video below.

 

 

Super Hero Camp

Join Bricks4Kidz® for a week building Superheroes with LEGO® bricks. Explore everyone from the Caped Crusader to the Green Goliath as we dive into the world of superheroes and discover their super powers. Create a fantasy world and protect it against all the evil arch enemies of our heroes using custom contraptions made with LEGO® bricks. At the end of the week, all SUPERHERO CAMPERS will go home with a custom mini figure! For ages 5+. This camp is not affiliated with Marvel or DC Comics.

 

Mining and Crafting I & II

Minecraft™ is a game about using the block world around you to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out so make sure to build a shelter before that happens. Experience the world of Minecraft™ with LEGO® bricks in this fun camp! Kids will start by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using LEGO® bricks. Campers will face new challenges each day, building motorized Bricks4Kidz® models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft™ game. At the end of the week, all MINERS AND CRAFTERS will go home with a custom mini-figure or a mini Minecraft™ build!. This camp is not affiliated with Minecraft™ or Minecraft.net.

 

 

Amusement Park 

Get your ticket to the rides at Bricks4Kidz® very own Amusement Park! Campers will build a new ride each day, learning how to make things spin, roll, turn and rock. Then they will take what they have learned to design their own thrill ride and challenges. Motorized models maximize the action and the fun. Each camp day includes carnival-themed games, group challenges, model-building and more.

Animal “Grossology” Camp

If you’re child is fascinated by the weird but true, wild and wacky, gross and yucky, then this is the camp for them! Spend the week discovering the zany biology of our animal friends as we explore fascinating facts about the animal kingdom. Focusing on a “creature of the day”, we build a different animal model each day as they work their way to becoming a certified Bricks4Kidz® Grossologist.

Extreme Expedition Camp

Form a team to face the challenge of our extreme expedition camp.  Prepare as we search the globe for bricks and other resources needed to construct a secret base and complete our expedition.  We will encounter fun survival challenges, face the forces of nature and have to quickly build transportation equipment to bring our team together from around the world. A great camp for those kids who love a good adventure and are thrilled to use their creativity to build.

Minute to Build It

Based on the popular NBC game show “Minute To Win It”, this camp is packed with fast-paced, fast-action building and good old-fashioned friendly competition. 60-seconds on the clock. Think you can do it? You’ve got a minute to complete the crazy challenges using exciting Bricks4Kidz® LEGO® models & every day household items! Each day offers new models and challenges as teams compete for the title of “Minute to Win It-Bricks4Kidz® Style” Champions Day five features camper-created challenges to be played out by fellow competitors. And of course there’s plenty of time for classic LEGO® building and fun!

Space Adventures Camp

Inspired by NASA and Star Wars™, our Space Adventures Camp is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! Each day, campers will learn about real-life space exploration and build models related to the NASA space program. In addition, the day includes LEGO® Star Wars™ themed models, video games, group games, challenges and more. Bricks4Kidz® Space Adventure camp provides the spark for imagination and creativity to take off on an adventure that’s out of this world!

“Bricks 4 Girlz” Workshop

Grab your friends and come hang out with us for a girls-only week of crafting and creating with LEGO® bricks. Introduce your friends to our “Friends” as we get to know LEGO® brand’s newest line of girl-themed models. Build adorable houses, cafes and more for a brand new cast of female characters including Olivia and all her friends. We’ll do lots of other unique things with bricks, from jewelry making to brick art and origami, with a take-home project each day.

Model Designer 101

How do LEGO® brick model-designers come up with their ideas? Where do they begin, and how do the ideas go from concept to completion? This camp will explore the creative process of model design. Campers will learn the function of different LEGO® components and discover how those components can work together to create all kinds of solid structures and moving parts. At the completion of the camp, each child will have the opportunity to present his or her own design.

Bricks 4 God

Discover God’s unconditional love for all of us by delving into a handful of cherished Bible stories. Practice engineering as you use your building skills to create models of baby Moses, stron Samson, Moses parting the Red Sea, a horse-drawn chariot, and Jacob’s vision of stairway to heaven. These engaging model builds and other fun activities in Bricks 4 God camp will strengthen campers’ spiritual self-image, as well as provide fun, hands-on experiences to share with peers.
