Is your child a fan of LEGO®?  Love to explore and build with a variety of technic materials?  Coding and Robotics?  Or just love to get creative?  Well, we are here for you!  

We are so excited to offer a full 8-week Summer Day Camp in the West Island!  Our camp will consist of weekly themes and your child will be learning from basic LEGO® building to advance technology.   Campers will learn to create their own mini-movie or comic video, they will build robots and cars and code them, they will explore the world of art with LEGO® and so much more.  Some of our themes:  GAME ON (Super Mario theme), NINGA week, Super Hero Academy, World of Imagination, Sports Fanatic and more!  This camp not only will bring a whole new level of STEM programs but our campers will also get the best of being in a camp that provides them sports, arts, dance and 3D printing and all other fun camp activities.  Why not get the best of both worlds?!  All materials are supplied, and in some cases, allow students’ access to expensive, specialized and hard to find LEGO® products and software they might not otherwise be exposed to.

All camps include small daily take-home items,  one “FUN” lunch a week (yes, we do pizza lunches, BBQ lunches etc with special events once a week!), inflatables and fun treats during the week.  We will bring specialists to the camp (since we can’t do field trips, we will bring them to us!). Prices include GST.  Tax receipts will be provided. Our summer camp is bilingual.

Cancellation/Transfer Policy: Notifications of withdrawal received up to 1 weeks prior to start date of camp will be charged a 10% administrative charge before refund. After that time, no refunds are issued. Changes to enrollment will be made based on availability.

*NEW* Teenage Mutant Brick Turtles (Ages 5-12) 

Grab your katanas and nunchucks as we prepare to fight crime with Teenage Brick Turtles! Practice engineering as you build two of the courageous turtles and their wise Japanese Rat Sensei, Master Splinter. Strengthen your ninjutsu skills to defeat the villainous Shredder and his evil Foot Clan. We’ll even build a city in the sewer and their favorite food – pizza! Projects use traditional bricks, motorized technic, and art mosaic LEGO® bricks.

Classic Arcade Brick Adventures (Ages 5-12) 

Jump into the world of classic arcade and video games! Eat flashing dots, collect coins and rings, avoid getting killed by enemies…there are so many obstacles to overcome and levels to beat! Let’s take it back to when it all started – the 1980’s! That was the time of 8-bit and later 16-bit technology, which gave these old games their classic appearance. Campers will build the famous plumber brothers, a Brick Eater, a jumping hedgehog, alien invaders, and more! Can you guess which classic game each model represents?

 Comic Creator: Bricks, Camera…COMIC Action! (Ages 7+) 

Explore the artistic form of comic book designs as you learn to create your personalized edition. Create your own characters, develop storylines and incorporate pictures of actual sets – all designed with LEGO® bricks! After creating various scenes, campers will snap pictures and upload them using a software program to create their very own, one of a kind comic book. Along with honing your storytelling skills, this camp is sure to take your imagination to the next level!

Model Designer (Ages 7+) 

How do LEGO® brick model-designers come up with their ideas? Where do they begin and how do the ideas go from concept to completion? This camp will explore the creative process of model design. Campers will learn the different functions of different LEGO® components and discover how those components can work together to create all kinds of solid structures and moving parts. To complete the camp each child will the opportunity to present his or her own creation.

Bricks 4 Girlz (Ages 5-13) 

Grab your friends and come hang out with us for a girlz-only week of crafting and creating with LEGO® bricks. Introduce your friends to our “Friends” as we get to know LEGO’s brand-new line of girl-themed models. Build adorable houses, cafes and more for a brand new cast of female characters including Olivia and all her friends. We’ll do lots of other unique things with bricks from jewelry making to brick art and origami with a take-home project each day. And don’t worry…there are “No Boys Allowed!” because this week is all about girls!

Mining & Crafting 2 (Ages 5-12) 

Steve is jumping for joy as he introduces the newest members of his Minecraft® world B4K style. Expanding on the creativity and excitement, participants will be inspired to bring their virtual designs to life by building ALL NEW mob figures, mosaics and models with traditional and motorized technic LEGO® Bricks.

Angry Birdies / Bad Piggies (Ages 5-12) 

Enter into the world of Angry Birds® and Bad Piggies®…the Bricks 4 Kidz way! Campers will be challenged to physically build and destroy a level from the popular game Angry Birds using traditional and motorized technic LEGO® bricks. Builds include 3D character models, fun mosaics and working launchers, slingshots, catapults and more.

Time Travel Tours (Ages 5-12) 

Step back in time and tour a medieval castle, gaze upon the Sphinx of Giza and probe the mysteries of Stonehenge. These are some of the models in the lineup for this series that explores historic monuments from around the world. We’ll travel the continents to uncover the history of some of the wonders of the ancient world that still survive to this day! Campers will reconstruct these important monuments, appreciate the architectural principals behind them and maybe even build a new interest in history! This camp utilizes traditional LEGO® bricks.

Space Adventures (Ages 5-12) 

Space, often called “the last frontier”, has inspired scientists, star-gazers and adventurers for generations. Get inspired and join us for an adventure to space! You’ll be introduced to fascinating facts such as the science behind launching things into orbit, the most-distant man-made object in the universe, and what it’s like to be an astronaut in space. We’ll construct models including the satellite, centrifuge and space robot. We’ll provide the bricks; all you need to bring for this adventure is your imagination!

Amusement Park (Ages 5-12)

Campers will build a new ride each day learning how to make things spin, roll, turn and rock. They will then take what they have learned to design their own thrills and challenges. Motorized models maximize the action and fun in this thrill-seeking camp!

Super Hero Academy (Ages 5-13)

Join the fun with Bricks 4 Kidz as we build cool, super hero inspired models with LEGO® bricks. Construct your favorite super heroes from traditional bricks, along with custom contraptions using our motorized technic models, to set the scene for “save the planet” action! Discover which super powers each hero possesses and protect your brick world against all the evil arch enemies with our dynamic building games and challenges.

Jr. Robotics (Ages 7-13)

Take your child’s LEGO® experience to the next level with this engaging camp that offers all the fun and learning of our popular technic building classes, PLUS the challenge of computer programming! Using LEGO’s® We-Do drag-and-drop icon based software (designed specifically for elementary ages), sensors and remote controls; your child will further customize their builds by adding sound and motion. An excellent introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics that will ignite their imagination with possibilities in today’s technological world.

Stop Motion Movie Making (Ages 7-13)

Lights, camera, LEGO® action! This unique camp allows your child to use the medium of bricks to tell their story, complete with music, special effects and all their favorite LEGO® minifigures! Participants creativity will be encouraged as they plan, script, stage, shoot and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion. Working as a team, students will use LEGO® components to build sets and props and then shoot their movie using a digital camera. Teams will learn movie-making software to add special effects, titles, credits and more! Your child will be able to impress friends and family with a screening on the last day and a digital copy of all the groups movies to take home.

Mindstorms Robotics (Ages 9-14) 

The hottest selling LEGO® brand, Mindstorms combines classic LEGO® building with the world of robotics using motors, sensors and software. Participants learn how to design and program their own LEGO® robot that can perform all kinds of tasks! Camp series begin by teaching the overviews of programing through a series of function-based builds. With this new skill set, participants are then encouraged to work as a team and think critically to apply these learned concepts to problem solve open ended challenges. Always popular, these classes are a fun and challenging next step into to the world of robotics for the advanced LEGO® enthusiast!
