Our Creative Game Mash up Camp is designed to be an amazing LEGO-filled experience for boys and girls ages 5-9. Every day is a different adventure, with a variety of different LEGO building techniques, arts and crafts, bingo, word search, puzzels, games, show and tell, kid movie on Friday, making friends, guided creative play time and so much more all around our theme of the week. Each Game Design unit includes a themed mini-model built with LEGO® Bricks that will be the main character of all of the games. Fans of Battle Bots and other Sumo bot competitions will thrill to the opportunity of building different competitive LEGO Sumo Bots each day, and then testing them out on the field of battle against other bots. We’ll dive into discussions about how and why various engineering components work, how the Sumo Bot code works, how or why to tweak it, how to modify your Sumo Bot, why it won its match, and even more important – why it didn’t quite make it. By the end of the week each camper should walk away with a better understanding of the world of robotics, and memories of an amazing week of fun! About Our Advanced Robotics Camps Using the most advanced LEGO robotics kit on the market, LEGO Spike Prime, we will build a different robot every day with innovative designs that teach different engineering techniques. We’ll also program our robots, and do other fun, LEGO & Robotics-related activities throughout the week.
