PRESCHOOL/KINDERGARTEN CAMPS (AGES 4-5)

For students getting ready to enter Trans-Kindergarten and Kindergarten this fall. Each day will be a different building experience along with fun art projects, and games. We’ll learn about community, under the sea, and more! Let your almost Kindergartner explore his/her world through building with Lego® bricks.  (Students MUST be potty-trained)

Grab your friends and come hang out with us for a girls-only week of crafting and creating with LEGO® bricks.fun motorized girl oriented models like the gymnast and the dancer. We’ll do lots of other unique things with bricks, from jewelry making to brick art and Perler beads. Daily themes include “I am an architect,” “I am an artist,” “I am an athlete,” and “I am an inventor.” We even wrap up the week with our own B4K version of Shark Tank. And don’t worry… there are “NO BOYS ALLOWED!” Because this week is all about girls!

Galaxy Far Away

Join your favorite space characters in a week of space adventure fun! Your Rebel friends are waiting for you to save the Galaxy! Inspired by NASA and Star Wars™, our Galaxy Far Away Camp is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! Each day, campers will learn about real-life space exploration and build models related to the NASA space program, along with building models and characters based on the popular space film. In addition, campers will enjoy group games, challenges and more. Bricks 4 Kidz Galaxy Far Away camp provides the spark for imagination and creativity to take off on an adventure that’s out of this world!

Super Hero Academy

Join Bricks4Kidz for a week of building cool, Super Hero inspired models with LEGO® bricks. Construct your favorite super heroes along with custom contraptions to set the scene for “save the planet” action! Discover which super powers each hero possesses and protect your brick world against all the evil arch enemies. Come build the newest addition to the B4K family of heroes and villains – The Incredibles! As an added bonus, students will create their own Super Hero comic book using our Comic Creator software and Lego bricks.

Mining and Crafting

Minecraft® is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens. Experience the world of Minecraft® with Lego® bricks in this fun summer camp!  Kids will start by crafting their shelters and some of the mobs, critters and tools using LEGO® bricks. Students will face new challenges each day, building models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft® game.

Extreme Brick Ninjas

Grab your katanas and nunchucks as we prepare to fight crime with the Teenage Brick Turtles and enter the fascinating world of Ninjago.  Practice engineering as you build characters such as the wise Japanese rat sensei, Master Splinter, Jay, and Kai.  Strengthen your ninjutsu skills to defeat the villainous characters.  A ninjas work is never done!

Let’s build a CITY! There are many different types of engineering jobs, and building is one of the most fun! What would a city be without the architects and engineers who come up with the ideas, plans and building skills to make it all come together? Campers will put their engineering and architecture skills to work as they build city themed models using LEGO® Bricks. The sky’s the limit when campers are challenged to use their own ideas and skills to build a skyscraper taller than their heads! They’ll have a blast using custom-built cars to move the people of the city all around town – brick by brick! What an accomplishment to be able to proudly exclaim “We built this BRICK City!”

The Bricks 4 Kidz Junior Robotics camp offers all the fun of building with LEGO® bricks, PLUS the challenge of computer programming! Using drag-and-drop icon-based software, WeDo® software provides an introduction into the world of computer-programming and robotics that will equip children to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. As an added bonus, campers will work with two of the newest members of the B4K family – Dash and Dot! Students will learn basic coding with these fun, interactive robots. This fun, action-packed week combines real-life skills with real-kid fun!

Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming their commands directly into the intelligent brick. Students will learn about the design process and build creations such as a sound machine, security devise, or animatronics puppet. The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination.  We’ll end the week with a Shark Tank competition where students will have to “SELL” their ideas to our Robotics coaches.

 Movie Making – Stop Motion Animation Camp

Explore great stories of faith as we build models with LEGO®  Bricks of the tree in the Garden of Eden, Noah’s ark, a lion such as Daniel faced in the lion’s den, the Ark of the Covenant, the whale that swallowed Jonah, and a house of worship.
