AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT CLASSES

Where can your child develop teamwork, creativity and problem-solving? Is there a place where they can play and socialize with friends… and learn at the same time? How about unwinding after school without zoning out in front of the TV?

Bricks 4 Kidz® after-school classes build on the universal popularity of LEGO® bricks to deliver a high quality of educational play. Each hour-long class is a fun, enriching experience for your child. Kids build a new project each week using the classic bricks loved by generations of children. Our unique models aren’t the kits you find on the shelves of a toy store.

They’re designed by Bricks 4 Kidz® to teach concepts across a variety of subject areas. Each unit is based on engaging themes such as space, inventions, famous buildings and more. We kick things off with a discussion about key concepts related to the model, then get right into the building. Working with a partner, your child will experience the hands-on fun of seeing a model come together piece by piece, from concept to completion. And by using one project kit to create dozens of models, kids learn that with a little imagination and resourcefulness, they can use what you have to create something amazing. Each class ends with free-play time so the kids can create their own one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Our one hour  in  school classes  or four hours  center based classes explore architecture, engineering and technology concepts using LEGO® bricks.  Students participate in 4 week sessions in school or on going at the Center , focusing  on exciting themes including Space, Inventions, Famous Buildings, and Natural Disasters.

DURATION / FREQUENCY  /CLASS SIZE

• The program runs through-out  the  school year & follows the school calendar and also  through-out the year at the Creativity Center.

• Classes meet after school for 1 hour in school, once a week   (Usually after school, anywhere between  3:00p – 4:00p; exact days & times to be posted by school).  Classes also meet at the Center between  the hours of  8am-12pm & 2:00p-6:00p Monday-Friday daily.

• Children  may join any time (even if a session has started, the  cost will be prorated for that session).

• We Learn- Teachers provide a 5-10 minute themed lesson
• We Build- Students build the model of the day with simple step by step instructions
• We Play- Students explore their own creativity through free play time
