We offer a variety of workshops to help Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts in the greater Knoxville area earn electives and badges. Check out the list below and then for further information, please use our contact form.

Cub Scout Workshops – Dens & Packs

Bricks 4 Kidz workshops are designed specifically for Cub Scouts to earn Elective Adventures, Achievements and STEM Nova Program badges. Bricks 4 Kidz workshops are fun, interactive, engaging, hands-on and promote learning STEM concepts while meeting scout requirements. In the workshop, Cub Scouts build motorized models using specialized model plans, and LEGO® bricks, gears and motors.

We also offer Pack events that incorporate STEM & Lego based activities, games and challenges. STEM Nova Badges or a fun customized LEGO® Night of fun for the cub scouts can be coordinated with us for whatever duration you are interested in. We have over 200+ model builds from various themes to select from!

STEM NOVA PROGRAM Badges: 

  • SCIENCE Badge – “Science is Everywhere”
    • Wolf & Bear (1 hour workshop)
    • Webelos (1.5 hour workshop)
  •    ENGINEERING Badge – “Swing”
    • Wolf & Bear (1 hour workshop)
    • Webelos (1.5 hour workshop)

Workshops – We will host it at your local school or meeting location in the Knoxville area and surrounding counties. The workshops can be scheduled on weekdays and Saturday mornings/afternoons. The minimum fee for Den workshops is 12 scouts and Pack events is 24 scouts.

Girl Scout Workshops

Bricks 4 Kidz workshops are designed for Girl Scouts to promote learning STEM concepts while making connections to the real world. Girl scouts build motorized models using our proprietary model plans, and LEGO® bricks, gears and motors. Build from a gymnast to a catapult to a spin art machine, and many more to choose from over 200+ models at various competency levels.  Bricks 4 Kidz workshops are fun, hands-on, intereactive and engaging. The workshops are designed for Girl Scouts to earn badges – Daisies through Cadette, while making fun connections to STEM!

 

We also offer Service Unit events that incorporate STEM & STEAM concepts – to empower and inspire girls to what STEM encompasses and learn about opportunities in the real world around them. Girls will build motorized models with Lego bricks, gears and more. Various themes to choose from – laws of motion, space, inventions, life sciences, mission to space and forces of nature. Also, will work on fun games and challenges to foster teamwork, collaborative learning and character building. STEAM workshop incorporates STEM activities with art to engage girls in building motorized model builds but at the same time giving them an opportunity to get creative.

 

  • Brownies:
    • Bugs Badge (1 hour)
    • Inventor Badge (1 hour)
    • STEM and STEAM workshops (1 or 2 hour)

 

  •  Juniors:
    • Entertainment Technology Badge (3 hour)
    • Digital Photography Badge (3 hour)
    • STEM and STEAM workshops (2 or 3 hour)
    • Architectural Model Building workshop (1 or 2 hour)
    • Teambuilding workshop (1 or 2 hour)

 

  • Cadettes:
    • Comic Artist Badge (3 hour)
    • Digital Movie Maker Badge (3 hour)
    • STEM and STEAM workshops (2 or 3 hour)
    • Architectural Model Building workshop (1 or 2 hour)
    • Teambuilding workshop (1 or 2 hour)
