2012 Summer Camps

$125 per week per student.  Each student receives a Bricks 4 Kidz t-shirt and an email link to a photo slideshow from the week.

 

 All Camps are 9am-12pm Monday through Friday

 

June 4-8              Movie Making          ages  7-12/+$15 lab fee

That’s right!  Lights, camera, LEGO®!  Take your creativity to the next level.  Is the future Steven Spielberg enrolled here? Students create and develop an adventure movie and build a movie studio with LEGO® bricks. And then film their movie using a digital camera! After adding/ editing movie dialogue, sound effects, music and graphics, they’ll create titles, credits, and text.  +Final Day of Camp parents are asked to
join us for a special movie premier!   *All movies will be sent home with the child on DVD.

June 11-15          Theme Set Mania    ages 6-12

Power Miners, LEGO® Creator, Technic, Star Wars, Pirates, Space Police and more.  This camp is perfect for the Builder who loves building sets and can’t get enough of them.  Tons of sets will be available to fulfill the Builder’s wildest dreams.  There may even be some sets older than the campers!  We will have all levels available, from small to large.

June 18-22             Brick Olympics         ages 6-12

Calling all sports fans… on your mark, get set, build! Celebrate the 2012 Summer Olympics with cool models of sports from cycling to soccer, basketball to gymnastics. Take a break from the heat and compete indoors to set your own Brick Olympic records with our exciting sports-themed challenges!

June 25-29           Amusement Park Madness    ages 6-12

Summer is all about fun, fireworks and amusement parks. Join us as we construct models of longtime favorite amusement park rides. We‛ll build swings, roller coasters, twisters and others. Use your creativity and build your own. Give your minifigures the ride of a lifetime!!

July 9-13             Let’s Go Around the World!   ages 6-12

From the Empire State Building to the Eiffel Tower, we will explore history and create replicas of some of the world’s most famous structures out of LEGO® bricks.  You will be able to experiment with gears, motors and battery packs, possibly incorporating them into the structures you build.  Make the Lighthouse turn, or add a moving drawbridge to the Castle.

July 16-20             Carnival Crazed Contraptions         ages 6-12

Get your ticket to ride at Bricks 4 Kidz® very own Carnival!  Campers will build new rides each day, learning how to make things spin, roll and turn.  Motorized models maximize the action and the fun.  Each day includes carnival-themed games, group challenges, model building and more.

July 23-27              Remote Control Mania         ages 5-12

With the use of LEGO® wireless remote controls, this exciting camp will inspire students imaginations as they build with some of the most fascinating LEGO® components ever created.  The campers will understand the working principles of numerous innovative and ingenious inventions that are now part of our daily lives. Maybe even create their own inventions!

Aug 6-10              Space Adventures             ages 6-12

Our Space Adventures Camp is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! Each day, campers will learn about real-life space exploration and build models related to the NASA space program, providing the spark for imagination and creativity to take off on an adventure that’s out of this world!
