FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are Bricks 4 Kidz® After School Classes?

Bricks 4 Kidz® offers creative and challenging classes using LEGO® bricks, motors and remote controls. We provide a unique learning environment where qualified teachers inspire imagination and invention. We make learning fun.

How often do classes meet and how long are they?

Elementary after school classes meet weekly with the exception of holidays.  Each class is 1 hour long and typically meets immediately after school lets out.

Each 60 min class is organized into the following schedule:

  • 10-15 minute lesson
  • 25 minute model build
  • Remaining time (10-15 minutes) free play and clean up

How long do the classes run?

Classes run in 6-8 week sessions throughout the school year.   Each session has a new and exciting theme!

Who teaches the after school classes?

All of our classes are taught by Bricks 4 Kidz® teachers who have been background checked and taught how to deliver the Bricks 4 Kidz® curriculum.

Do students take home their projects?

Children will build and take home a minifigure each session, but models are not taken home.

How do I enroll my child in a class?

At the bottom of our web page you will find an area that says “Parents Enroll Here”.  Just click there and you will be directed to our enrollment site.  If you have previously set-up an account with us, then just log-in with your user name and password and search for events in your area.  If you are new, you will be asked to create an account.  Once you have located the event just walk through the enrollment steps and you will be sent an email confirming the enrollment.  Some of our classes are hosted by other parties (library, community center, etc.) in which case you may have to fill out additional paperwork through that organization.  We will make note of  any camp or classes that require additional paperwork.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How much do the classes cost?

Each class is competitively priced and is based on the type of program being offered, so pricing may vary.  We work to make sure all of our events are fairly priced.

What age groups are appropriate for this program?

Each class is different, and while we do have some more advanced summer camps, most of our programs are suitable for children ages 5-12.  When out of school programs or camps are offered we will always try to note which age is best suited to attend.

I don’t see a class at the school my child attends, what can I do?

If you would like to see a Bricks 4 Kidz® class offered at your child’s school, please let us know.  We will most likely ask you to contact your school’s after school coordinator (principal, PTA, etc.) and tell them about our program.  We offer a free session as a reward to any parent who helps us start a class at a new location.

If you have other questions concerning our program, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.  We will always do our best to answer your questions in a timely manner.
