Although it’s early to begin planning your 2015 summer, you can find out more about our summer camps at our Parent Handbook and FAQ page. The 2015 summer camp calendar will be open for registration in January 2015.
Our 2014 Summer Camp Locations and offerings included:
Brentwood Congregational UCC (next door to Brentwood City Hall in Brentwood)
Christ Community Lutheran School (across the street from the Magic House in Kirkwood)
Motorized Machines and Remote Control Mania at Pole Position Raceway
Making it move is the name of the game at this exciting camp. Kids will love to see their creations in motion using LEGO wireless remote controls. Each day, campers will use fascinating and challenging LEGO components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more. As they enjoy the fun of building, campers will understand the basic working principles of many ingenious devices that are part of our everyday lives. Campers will also learn how to magnify, diminish, and redirect force to move objects at different speeds and in different directions. This camp is loads of fun and learning for budding builders. Ages 6-12.
$350 for entire camp week at Pole Position Raceway, 9am-3pm, camp includes racing, activities, lunch, and daily Bricks 4 Kidz workshop. Can also enroll in Bricks 4 Kidz-only camp for $150 for the week. 12-3pm daily.
Robotic Design and Engineering Lab
This is LEGO Jr. Robotics like you’ve never seen it before! In addition to introducing students to the basics of programming using the LEGO WeDo drag-and-drop programming software, we’ll learn about electronic circuits, including batteries, resistors, power, electricity and remote controls. If you are a tinkerer who is interested in electronics, enthusiastic about programming and fascinated by robotics, then satisfy your curiosity in this all new, hands-on camp. We’ll build motorized LEGO models all week long to illustrate the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M.) concepts learned. If you attended our 2012 or 2013 robotics and remote control camps, you’ll love the new models and lessons. All campers take home a Bricks 4 Kidz drawstring bag. $150 for the week.

Mindstorms Advanced Robotics
Bricks 4 Kidz Mindstorms Advanced Robotics introduces students to real-life robotic technology using the new LEGO Mindstorms EV3. Students experiment in teams to build robots and write programs that challenge them to find creative solutions to problems. Students will learn to use an array of sensors, motors, and intelligent units to design robots that accomplish various tasks. This camp is a fun and challenging introduction to the world of robotics for the advanced LEGO enthusiast. If you have never used the Mindstorms EV3 robots before, we will teach you everything you need to know to program and build your own robots. All campers take home a Bricks 4 Kidz drawstring bag. $185 for the week.
Ages 9+ (campers must have completed 3rd grade)
Bricks 4 Girlz Robotic Building and Creative Design Camp
Grab your friends and come hang out with us for a girls-only week of crafting and creating with LEGO bricks. Build houses, cafes, and modeling runways to showcase your LEGO fashion designs. We’ll also build motorized LEGO models and turn them into robots that dance and whirl using the LEGO WeDo drag-and-drop programming software. We’ll do lots of other unique things too, from LEGO brick jewelry making to brick art. This week is all about girls! At the end of the week, all campers go home with a Bricks 4 Kidz drawstring bag and their own LEGO jewelry design. Ages 6+ (campers must have completed kindergarten). $140 for the week.
Movie Making 101
Lights, cameras, LEGO action! Use LEGO bricks to tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects and all your favorite LEGO mini-figure characters! In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation. Working in teams of 3, students will use LEGO components to build the set and props, then shoot their movie using a camera. Teams will use movie-making software to add special effects, titles, credits and more. When the movie is complete, campers will impress friends and family with a screening party on the last day of camp. Don’t miss your chance to be a movie producer! All campers take home a Bricks 4 Kidz drawstring bag and a data CD of their movie creation at the end of the week. $185 for the week.
Ages 7+ (campers must have completed 1st grade)
Super Hero Academy
Join Bricks 4 Kidz for a week building Super Heroes with LEGO® bricks. Explore all the caped crusaders and discover their super powers, including those of Batman, Superman, Iron Man, The Hulk, Wonder Woman, and much more. Create a fantasy world and protect it against all the evil arch enemies with custom contraptions made with LEGO® bricks. We’ll build cool motorized LEGO contraptions to rival Bruce Wayne’s Batcave arsenal! At the end of the week, all super hero campers will go home with a Bricks 4 Kidz drawstring bag. $140 for the week.

Intergalactic Adventures Building Camp
August 4-8, 9am-12pm, at the Bridgeton Community Center, 4201 Fee Fee Rd. Bridgeton, MO 63044
Inspired by NASA and Star Wars, our Intergalactic Adventures Building Camp is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! In this camp, students will learn about real-life space exploration while building motorized LEGO models related to the NASA space program. We’ll also have a variety of building games and challenges. All campers take home a Bricks 4 Kidz drawstring bag at the end of the week. Ages 6-12 (must have completed kindergarten). $150 for Bridgeton and Maryland Heights Residents/$110 for non residents. This camp is a partnership with Bridgeton Parks and Recreation Department. To register, call 314-739-5599.
