What does a Bricks 4 Kidz After School Class look like?

We had a photographer from Recs and Parks come to one of our classes a few weeks go and take some photos of one of our Pirates Quest themed classes. Check out this Flickr album for some great shots of our students having a blast Learning, Building and Playing!!

Our one hour classes explore architecture, engineering and technology concepts using LEGO® bricks. Students participate in 6 week sessions focused on exciting themes including Space, Inventions, Contraptions, and Big Weather Events.

Keep in mind these classes will run if they are approved by Howard County BOE and Facilities for contractors to enter the school buildings this fall. Changes in Covid regulations could alter these schedules. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through the issues the pandemic have brought, to all of us, together.

We Learn– Teachers provide a 5-10 minute themed lesson
We Build– Students build the model of the day with simple step by step instructions
We Play– Students explore their own creativity through free play time
