BRICKS 4 KIDZ PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

AFTER SCHOOL LEGO® ENRICHMENT PROGRAM 

• This is a hands-on class where students will design and build machines, catapults, pyramids, derby cars, buildings and other constructions out of LEGO® components. While exploring engineering, architecture and physics, students will develop problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Students will work in a lab-type setting using LEGO® bricks with an integrated curriculum based on math and science.  Instructional content includes concepts of friction, gravity and torque, scale, gears, axles and beams.
• The material covered each session will vary depending on students’ ages, experience, and skill level.
• All materials are provided.
• Once the project is completed, children use the rest of their time to expand their gadgets and collaborate with one another.

SUMMER CAMPS

• The Bricks 4 Kidz® summer camp programs bring the same high quality educational content and wraps it with even more fun!
• Campers build models based on an exciting theme such as space, transportation, amusement parks, etc.
• Campers also participate in a lot of fun games and challenges!

IN-SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

• Invite Bricks 4 Kidz into your classroom and we can give your students a great, hands-on learning experience.
• We can turn any of our 80+ lesson and model plans into a 45 minute LEGO® Lab for the students.
• There are many themes to chose from including simple machines, transportation, famous buildings, inventions and space travel.  The great thing is, we can taylor it to what your students are currently learning in class.  Bringing your teachings out of the textbook and into a 3D model the students can build.

SPECIAL EVENTS

• Bricks 4 Kidz of West Orange – Lake County specializes in creating a program to meet your needs!
• We are available for school events, Boy or Girl Scout events, church programs, and more.
• Invite Bricks 4 Kidz to your weekly homeschool program or gather 10 or more kids into your home and we can run a great science lab to supplement your homeschool curriculum.
