Camp Policy

Payment Requirement

All fees must be paid in full upon attendance of camp. Payment is due no later than 12pm the day of camp. Bricks4Kidz will have the right to unroll any camper unpaid for and refuse their attendance.

What is the camp to staff ratio?

Our average camper to staff ratio is 10:1. As the camp enrollment increases, additional aides will be assigned to assist during the camp session.

What is the maximum camp enrollment?

Twenty five campers is the maximum number of children that can enroll in any one of our camps per classroom.

What should my child bring to camp?

Snacks, water/other drinks and nut-free, non-perishable lunch. Don’t forget a jacket/hat for cold days or hat/sunscreen during warm weather as we also have daily outdoor breaks.

What is the structure of your camp?

Our camp day is designed to introduce children to new STEAM ideas and concepts. Check out sample schedule here.

What type of activities do you offer during extended care?

The extended care time will be less-structured allowing children “free-play” time to do activities that they choose. We offer STEAM choices such as art, board games, creative building with Legos and more.

We recommend that your child SHOULD NOT bring the following items to camp:

1. Personal LEGO® bricks/ mini figures

2. Electronic devices, including but not limited to iPODs/MP3 players, CD players, video games, tablets and laptops.

Note: Bricks4Kidz is not responsible for any personal items that are lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced during camp.

Do campers take home their projects after the camp?

Since we use our LEGO® supplies in classes and camps throughout the year, campers do not take home projects or pieces. There are some occasions where campers will take home non-LEGO® related projects that they create during camp.

What is the typical age range – will my child be too young or old compared to the rest of the class?

Our typical age range is 5-12 years old. Part of our camp experience is to encourage collaboration and teamwork. Campers are grouped based on their age and skill level. In a full camp, comprised of beginner and intermediate campers, instructors will be available to work with each group. The base projects, lessons and software used in a class or camp are the same for all students; however, older campers will work on intermediate or advanced model builds that are more intricate, detailed, and enhanced with extra components.

Cancellation policy

As you sign your child up for camp, please know that we are looking forward to a great camp and want to be sure each child is ready and able to attend in advance of your signing up. We understand if you have to cancel and we will process your refund minus a 10% administrative fee prior to our cut off dates (see below).

Camps: If a cancellation occurs 3 full weeks (21 days) or more prior to a camp session, a refund will be provided minus a $50 administrative fee. Refunds will NOT be provided after this cut off time.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate refunds for partial attendance, sickness or closures due to inclement weather.

Bricks4Kidz® reserves the right to cancel any program due to low enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be issued.
