Summer 2013 Camp Schedule

Some camps require private registration as indicated below.

  • Pelham YMCA Summer Camp May 29 – 31, contact the Pelham Y
  • Margaret Elementary Summer Program:  June 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28
  • Pelham YMCA Summer Camp June 3-7, contact the Pelham Y
  • South Choctaw Academy June 4, 11, 18, Robotics camp, private registration
  • Meadow View Elementary:  Super Hero Camp – June 10th and 11th, 9:00 – 11:00 – Ages 6 and up – Students will participate in games, activities, and model building related to Super Heroes
  • Meadow View Elementary:  Minecraft Camp – June 12th, 13th, and 14th, 9:00 – 11:00 – Ages 6 and up – Students will participate in games, activities, and model building related to the Minecraft game, STUDENTS WILL NOT PLAY THE VIDEO GAME
  • Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation:  Minecraft Camp, June 12th and 13, 1:00 – 3:00 – Ages 6 and up – Students will participate in games, activities, and model building related to the Minecraft game, STUDENTS WILL NOT PLAY THE VIDEO GAME
  • Today Care Camp:  June 17 1:00 – 4:00
  • Pelham YMCA Summer Camp June 17 – 21, contact the Pelham Y
  • Helena Intermediate:  Stop Motion Animation Camp, June 24 – 28th, 9:00 – 11:00 – Appropriate for students who have completed 3rd grade and up – Students will make a movie using software, webcams and LEGO(R) bricks
  • Helena Intermediate:  Robotics, June 24th – 28th, 12:00 – 1:30 – Appropriate for students who have completed 3rd grade and up – Students will build and program models using LEGO(R) Mindstorms kits
  • BASK:  July 9th,  9:30 – 11:30, contact Victoria Johnson at Brookview Academy for registration information
  • Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation:  Minecraft Camp, July 9th and 10th, 1:00 – 3:00 – Ages 6 and up – Students will participate in games, activities, and model building related to the Minecraft game, STUDENTS WILL NOT PLAY THE VIDEO GAME
  • Vestavia Day School:  July 17th, 25th, and 31st, 9:30 – 11:30, contact Vestavia United Methodist Church for registration information
  • Inverness Elementary:  Minecraft Camp, July 29th and 30th, 9:00 – 11:00 – Ages 6 and up – Students will participate in games, activities, and model building related to the Minecraft game, STUDENTS WILL NOT PLAY THE VIDEO GAME
  • Inverness Elementary:  Super Hero Camp, Aug. 1st and 2nd, 9:00 – 11:00 – Ages 6 and up – Students will participate in games, activities, and model building related to Super Heroes
  • Vestavia Hills Parks and Recreation:  Stop Motion Animation Camp, July 29th – Aug. 2, 1:00 – 3:00 – Appropriate for students who have completed 3rd grade and up – Students will make a movie using software, webcams and LEGO(R) bricks
