After School Programs

After School Enrichment Classes

Our one hour classes explore architecture, engineering and technology concepts using LEGO® bricks.  Students participate in 4, 6, or 8 week sessions focused on exciting themes including Space, Inventions, Famous Buildings, and many more!!

Classes follow the Bricks 4 Kidz® motto: We Learn, We Build, We Play with… LEGO® Bricks.

• We Learn- Bricks 4 Kidz® teachers provide a 15 minute themed lesson

• We Build- Students spend 20-25 minutes building the model of the day with simple step by step instructions

• We Play- Students spend 15-20 minutes exploring  their own creativity through free play time

AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS IN WINTER: 

Colors Fine Arts Center (Madison) – Tuesdays 3:30 pm- 4:30 pm    

SPACE ADVENTURES    January 15 - February 12 (6 week session but individual classes are available if not full).  Click on VIEW CLASSES at top of the page to register

Hogan Family YMCA - Wednesdays 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm   

AMUSEMENT PARK MANIA  January 16  - February 6 (4 week session – Cost is $40 for members and $60 for non-members) Contact Hogan Family YMCA to register 256-705-9622

School of Fine Arts  (Decatur)  Mondays  3:30 pm – 4:30 pm

Decatur City Schools Extended Day Enrichment Program – week of January 28th - week of March 1 (5 week session) Registration available at your Decatur City home school. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE IN EXTENDED DAY TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES. IT IS OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS!! :

Walter Jackson Elementary – Tuesdays 3:15 – 4:00

Woodmeade Elementary – Tuesdays 3:15 – 4:00

Frances Nungester Elementary – Wednesday 3:15 – 4:00

Eastwood Elementary – Thursdays 3:15 – 4:00

Chesnut Grove Elementary – Thursdays 3:15 – 4:00

Priceville Elementary – Classes will be held once a month 3:15 – 4:15 with After School Program. Contact Amy Hood at Priceville Elementary for registration
